Our Swiss Alps & Lakes Classic is a 9-day, 8-night escorted coach holiday round trip from Zurich, covering Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany. Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Zurich and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
A day in the Swiss Alps. Explore Bern, the Swiss capital, then ride the cable car to Glacier 3000 and its suspension bridge at 3,000 metres (lunch included). Visit Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva before arriving in Geneva.
Guided tour of Geneva, then drive along Lake Geneva through vineyards to Lausanne. Continue to the walled town of Gruyères, famous for its cheese, and enjoy a tasting at the Cailler chocolate factory. Overnight in Fribourg.
Drive to Interlaken, set between two lakes, and walk through the Aare Gorge (lunch included). Stop in Gandria on Lake Lugano and take a boat to Lugano in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Overnight in Chiasso.
Visit Bellinzona and its three medieval castles, then cross the Gotthard Pass into German-speaking Switzerland. Free time for lunch in Altdorf, home of William Tell, then on to Lucerne to see the Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument and the old town.
Visit Einsiedeln, Switzerland's largest pilgrimage site, and Heididorf, the village behind the Heidi story. Continue to Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein, and overnight in Feldkirch, Austria.
Visit St Gallen and its UNESCO-listed abbey district with the cathedral and library (admission included). Follow Lake Constance to the German city of Konstanz, then return to Switzerland for Stein am Rhein and the Rhine Falls (admission included). Arrive in Zurich in the late afternoon.
Explore Zurich, one of the world's most liveable cities, then cruise on Lake Zurich to Rapperswil and return by Swiss train.
After breakfast, your tour ends. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
