Arrive in Barcelona and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
Guided tour of Barcelona. In the evening we take you to Maremagnum on the waterfront for dinner at your choice of restaurants.
Visit the walled seaside town of Peñíscola and Valencia, with a stop at the City of Arts and Sciences. Arrive in Madrid in the evening, with a transfer to Plaza Mayor.
Guided tour of Madrid, including a walk in Retiro Park and a visit to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Free afternoon.
Leave Madrid for La Mancha, stopping in Puerto Lápice, a village straight from the pages of Don Quixote. In Granada, enjoy lunch and a guided visit to the Alhambra (both included).
Cross the Costa del Sol to Algeciras and take the ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. Time in the seaside town of Asilah, then continue to Rabat. Dinner included.
Guided tour of Rabat, then drive south to Casablanca for a short city tour. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and ride a horse-drawn carriage to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Dinner included.
Guided tour of Marrakech, including the Bahia Palace (admission included), with lunch included. Free afternoon to explore the souks.
Leave the palm groves of Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the fortified village of Aït Benhaddou and the kasbah town of Ouarzazate, then continue to Boumalne Dadès. Dinner included.
Travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, past palm groves and adobe villages, to the dramatic Todgha Gorge and the earthen village of El Khorbat. Continue to Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara dunes. Lunch included.
Head north through nomad country and cedar forests via Midelt, the House of Cedars in Azrou National Park and the village of Bhalil, with lunch included along the way. Arrive in Fez in the evening, stopping at the Marinid Tombs for the view. Dinner included.
Guided tour of Fez, with lunch in a historic palace in the medina. In the afternoon, head north to Tangier. Dinner included.
Free time in Tangier before the ferry back to Spain. Arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa and continue to Seville. Dinner included.

Cross Extremadura's olive groves to Mérida and its remarkable Roman ruins. Enter Portugal for a walk through the whitewashed lanes of Évora, then continue to Lisbon.

Visit Fátima and its sanctuary, then continue to Porto for a 50-minute traditional boat trip on the Douro. Free time before checking in.
Ride the funicular up to the Bom Jesus sanctuary in Braga. In Galicia's Rías Baixas, visit Cambados and enjoy a boat trip with wine and mussel tasting. Arrive in Santiago de Compostela for a guided city tour.
Follow the Camino de Santiago to Lugo and its UNESCO-listed Roman walls, the mountain village of O Cebreiro and León with its magnificent cathedral. In Oviedo, a city tour is followed by dinner at a traditional cider house (included).
Visit the Basilica of Covadonga in the Picos de Europa, then Santillana del Mar, one of Spain's prettiest villages, with entry to the Altamira cave museum included. Continue to Santander for a guided tour.
Guided tour of Bilbao, home of the Guggenheim, then travel to La Rioja wine country to visit the Wine Culture Museum in Briones. Arrive in Zaragoza in the evening.
Guided tour of Zaragoza, then visit Poblet Monastery in Catalonia (admission included) before arriving in Barcelona.
