Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Visit the Palace of Versailles (entry tickets not included), then return to Paris for the artists' quarter of Montmartre and a guided city tour with a local expert.
Enjoy the view from the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and a cruise on the Seine. At 5:30 pm, head south to Tours in the Loire Valley for an evening stroll.
Drive through Bordeaux's vineyards for time in the World Heritage city of Bordeaux, then continue to Lourdes in the Pyrenees with time to visit the sanctuary. Dinner included.
Follow the Pyrenees to Carcassonne and its fairy-tale ramparts, then the medieval town of Foix. Cross the mountains into the tiny country of Andorra, stopping at the Romanesque church of Sant Joan de Caselles. Dinner included.
Free time in Andorra, then cross the Pyrenees to the mountain monastery of Montserrat, reached by rack railway. Arrive in Barcelona in the evening.
Guided tour of Barcelona. In the evening we take you to Maremagnum on the waterfront for dinner at your choice of restaurants.
Visit the walled seaside town of Peñíscola, then continue to Valencia for a guided tour and free time. Dinner included.
Follow the Mediterranean through green valleys and mountains to the Alicante coast. Ride the tourist train in Caravaca de la Cruz, one of the Catholic Church's holy cities, then arrive in Granada. Dinner included.
A full day in Granada, with a guided visit to the Alhambra included and a free afternoon to explore its magical corners.
Head to the Costa del Sol: Málaga, Picasso's birthplace, then glamorous Marbella and Puerto Banús. In the afternoon, visit Ronda, the white town perched above a dramatic gorge. Arrive in Seville, with dinner included.
Guided tour of Seville, followed by an afternoon boat trip on the Guadalquivir River (included).
Cross Extremadura's olive groves to Mérida and its remarkable Roman ruins. Enter Portugal for a walk through the whitewashed lanes of Évora, then continue to Lisbon.
Guided tour of Lisbon, the city of seven hills, with its tiled façades and Atlantic light.
Stroll through the quiet marble town of Estremoz before crossing into Spain. Visit Cáceres and its remarkably preserved medieval quarter, then arrive in Madrid, with an evening visit to Plaza Mayor.
Guided tour of Madrid, including a walk in Retiro Park and a visit to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Free afternoon.
