Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Warsaw and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
Guided tour of Warsaw, Poland's lively capital.
Travel through Lesser Poland, with lunch in Kielce, a medieval city with a cathedral and bishop's palace, and a walk around the market square of Tarnów. Arrive in Kraków in the late afternoon.
Guided tour of Kraków's UNESCO-listed medieval old town. The afternoon is free, and a traditional Polish meal is included.
Visit the pilgrimage complex of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and the ancient wooden church at Bárwałd Dolny. After a walk and lunch in Wadowice, visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial (Birkenau site). Stop in Nikiszowiec, a historic miners' district, before arriving in Katowice.
Stroll through the historic centre of Opole and visit the open-air village museum of 19th-century rural life. Arrive in Wrocław by midday to explore one of Poland's finest market squares and enjoy a boat ride along its canals.
Travel into Greater Poland for sightseeing and lunch in Poznań, one of the country's oldest cities. Continue to Toruń, the walled birthplace of Copernicus, and arrive in Gdańsk in the late afternoon.
Visit the European Solidarity Centre, which tells the story of the movement that helped end communism in Europe. Continue to the elegant seaside resort of Sopot, then return to Gdańsk for free time.
Explore Malbork, one of the largest medieval castles in the world, and the walled cathedral hill of Frombork. Visit the Elbląg Canal museum, a working feat of 19th-century engineering, before arriving in Warsaw.
