Day-wise Itinerary

Your tour begins in Paris. Drive to Beaune in Burgundy's wine country, then on to Lyon, a World Heritage city on the Rhône, where a funicular takes you to Notre-Dame de Fourvière.
Cross into Switzerland for free time in Geneva. After lunch, drive along Lake Geneva to Lausanne and on to Gruyères, with a tasting at the Cailler chocolate factory. Overnight in Fribourg.
Drive to Interlaken, set between two lakes, and walk through the Aare Gorge (lunch included). Stop in Gandria on Lake Lugano and take a boat to Lugano in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Overnight in Chiasso.
Visit Bellinzona and its three castles, then cross the Gotthard Pass. Free time for lunch in Altdorf, home of William Tell, then explore Lucerne's Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument and old town. Overnight in Zurich.
Explore Basel on the Rhine, with its old town and cathedral, then cross into Alsace, a region with its own distinct culture. Stop in the storybook village of Riquewihr before arriving in Strasbourg.
Begin with a boat ride through Strasbourg's canals, then drive to Épernay, the capital of Champagne, for a winery visit. Arrive in Paris in the evening.
After breakfast, your tour ends. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
