Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel. In the evening we take you to Via Cavour for some free time.
Guided tour of Rome ending at the Vatican. In the evening we take you to the lively Trastevere neighbourhood.
Drive to Florence and start at Piazzale Michelangelo for the best view of the city, followed by a guided tour. The afternoon is free to explore.
Cross the Apennines to Venice. A boat takes you to St Mark's Square for a walking tour and a glassblowing demonstration. Overnight in Mestre.
Cross the Alps into Austria for a stop in Innsbruck, capital of Tyrol, then continue to Zurich, arriving in the evening.
A day of mountains and lakes. In Grindelwald, ride a cable car up towards the glaciers (lunch included), then visit the lakeside city of Lucerne before returning to Zurich.
Cross the Alps to Bellinzona, the most Italian of Swiss towns, with three medieval castles. In Italy, stop in Como beside its famous lake. In Milan, your guide takes you to the Piazza del Duomo for a walk and dinner.
Drive through Tuscany to Pisa, where a tourist train takes you to the Leaning Tower, then continue to Rome.
After breakfast, your tour ends. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
