Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
Drive north past the seaside town of Kamena Vourla and the historic pass of Thermopylae to Meteora, the World Heritage Site of monasteries perched on rock pillars (entry to one monastery included). Dinner in Kalambaka.
Travel through dramatic scenery to Delphi to explore its famous archaeological site (admission included), then continue to the Monastery of Hosios Loukas, a World Heritage Site. Return to Athens in the evening.
Take ferries to the islands of Aegina and Poros, then cross to the Peloponnese to visit the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, built over 2,400 years ago (admission included). Overnight in the harbour town of Nafplio beneath its Venetian fortress. Dinner included.
Cross the Peloponnese mountains to Tripoli for a stroll, then visit ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games (admission and guided tour included). Overnight in Patras, with dinner included.
Stop in Nafpaktos, the ancient Lepanto, then visit Mycenae, cradle of Europe's earliest civilisation (admission included). Climb to the fortress of Acrocorinth (tickets included) and see the Corinth Canal before returning to Athens.

Guided tour of Athens ending near the Acropolis (admission not included). In the afternoon, transfer to Piraeus to board the overnight ferry.
Arrive in Rhodes for a guided tour of its medieval old town. In the afternoon, take the express ferry to Marmaris on the Turkish coast. Dinner included.
Take a boat in Dalyan to see the Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs and relax at the lakeside hot springs. Continue to Antalya for a city tour, with dinner included.
Visit the remarkably preserved Roman theatre of Aspendos and the Temple of Apollo at Side. Leave the coast to cross the Taurus Mountains via Karaman to Niğde. Dinner included.
Explore Cappadocia's fairy-tale landscapes: the rock-cut Gümüşler Monastery, the underground city of Kaymaklı and the natural fortress of Uçhisar, then the Göreme open-air museum. Dinner and overnight in Avanos.
Leave the Anatolian plateau for the green north and arrive in Safranbolu, a UNESCO-listed Ottoman town, where you'll enjoy traditional tea in a historic caravanserai. Dinner included.
Follow the Black Sea coast to the Gökgöl cave, then lunch in Ereğli and visit the legendary Cehennemağzı caves and tombs. Arrive in Istanbul in the evening.
Guided tour of Istanbul including the Süleymaniye Mosque and Topkapı Palace. In the evening we take you to the lively Taksim district.
Enjoy a private two-hour cruise along the Bosphorus, the strait that divides Europe and Asia.
After breakfast, your tour ends. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
