England & Scotland Grand Circuit: 9 days and 8 nights of sightseeing across the United Kingdom, travelling round trip from London by comfortable coach. Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in London and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
Guided tour of London, including Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard when it takes place. Free afternoon, and in the evening a walk through Leicester Square and Soho.
Head north to Cambridge and its riverside colleges, then to York with its Roman walls and magnificent Minster. Overnight in the medieval city of Durham.
Visit Alnwick, whose castle starred in the Harry Potter films, then cross into Scotland. Guided tour of Edinburgh, a World Heritage city.
A scenic drive through the Highlands via Pitlochry to Loch Ness, with a visit to Urquhart Castle and a boat ride on the loch. Continue past lochs and mountain villages to Glasgow. In winter, the route changes for weather: Pitlochry with a whisky distillery visit, Stirling Castle (admission included) and the Kelpies, then Glasgow.
Travel south through Scotland and England, stopping for lunch in Lichfield with its three-spired cathedral. Continue to Birmingham, with its lively canalside and city-centre restaurants.
Visit Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare's home town, then drive through the Cotswolds to Stow-on-the-Wold with its tearooms and antique shops. Lunch at Gloucester's historic docks and visit its cathedral, then arrive in elegant Bath.
Time in Georgian Bath, then visit Stonehenge (admission included). Lunch in medieval Salisbury and visit its cathedral with England's tallest spire (admission included). Return to London around 7:30 pm.
After breakfast, your tour ends. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
