Classical Greece & Aegean Islands Cruise: 8 days and 7 nights of sightseeing across Greece and Turkey, travelling round trip from Athens by comfortable coach. Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and explore.
Drive north past the seaside town of Kamena Vourla and the historic pass of Thermopylae to Meteora, the World Heritage Site of monasteries perched on rock pillars (entry to one monastery included). Dinner in Kalambaka.
Travel through dramatic scenery to Delphi to explore its famous archaeological site (admission included), then continue to the Monastery of Hosios Loukas, a World Heritage Site. Return to Athens in the evening.
Guided tour of Athens, ending at the Acropolis (admission not included). In the evening we take you to the lively Plaka neighbourhood.
Your cruise begins. Transfer to the port for an 11 am departure and sail to Mykonos for free time on the island. Overnight on board.
Call at Kuşadası on the Turkish coast for an included excursion to ancient Ephesus, then visit the island of Patmos. Overnight on board.
Call at Heraklion in Crete (an optional visit to the Palace of Knossos is recommended), then sail to Santorini, the most dramatic of the Greek islands. The ship departs at 9 pm; overnight on board.
The ship arrives at Lavrio or Piraeus at around 6:30 am, where your tour ends.
