Welcome to Oman! Our representative meets you in the arrivals hall at Muscat International Airport and drives you to your hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight in Muscat.
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day guided tour of Muscat: the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Muttrah fish and vegetable market, Muttrah Souq and the seafront Corniche. Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum for a look at Omani heritage, then stop for photos at Al Alam Palace and the Royal Opera House. Overnight in Muscat.
Early pick-up from your hotel (around 7:15 am) for a two-hour boat cruise along Muscat's coastline, where spinner, common, bottlenose and Indo-Pacific dolphins are spotted throughout the year. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Muscat.
A full-day journey into Oman's historic interior. In Nizwa, explore the mighty Nizwa Fort and its lively souq. Continue to Bahla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient walls and traditional pottery. End at Jabreen Castle, famous for its elegant architecture and painted wooden ceilings. Return to Muscat in the evening. Overnight in Muscat.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Muscat International Airport for your flight home.
Dress code: At the Grand Mosque, women must cover arms and legs and wear a headscarf; men should wear trousers and a shirt.
