Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in Las Vegas and transfer to your hotel. Your guide shares the tour details in the afternoon, and later we head out to see Downtown and the glittering Strip.
Drive along historic Route 66 via Seligman to the Grand Canyon (park entry included). Take in the views from Bright Angel and Mather Point before continuing to Flagstaff.
Head back into Nevada, passing the Hoover Dam (seen from the coach) on the way to Las Vegas. In the afternoon we take you to one of the city's best-known outlet malls.
Cross Death Valley, the largest national park in the lower USA, and stand at Badwater Basin, 85 metres below sea level. A Wild West-style lunch is included before arriving in Bakersfield. Note: from June to October, Calico Ghost Town replaces Death Valley because of extreme heat and park closures.
Swap the desert for the giant forests of Sequoia National Park, home to some of the largest trees on earth. Overnight in Fresno.
Spend the day in Yosemite National Park, admiring El Capitan, Half Dome and its thundering waterfalls. Free time for lunch, then arrive in San Francisco in the late afternoon.
Morning tour of San Francisco and a free afternoon. In the evening we take you to the Italian-flavoured North Beach neighbourhood.
Drive to Monterey for a walk along Cannery Row, then on to elegant Carmel-by-the-Sea with its boutiques and galleries. Overnight in San Luis Obispo.
Head south along the Californian coast to Santa Barbara and its Spanish mission. Arrive in Los Angeles, with an evening transfer to Downtown Disney.
Guided tour of Los Angeles, followed by free time for lunch and exploring. In the late afternoon we take you to Long Beach.
After breakfast, your tour ends. We can arrange your airport transfer on request.
