Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening on the Muttrah Corniche. Overnight in Muscat.
Half-day tour of the Grand Mosque, Muttrah Souq and Bait Al Zubair, with photo stops at Al Alam Palace and the Royal Opera House. Overnight in Muscat.
Coast road to the Bimmah Sinkhole and Wadi Shab, then the dhow yard in Sur. Night turtle-watching tour at Ras Al Jinz. Overnight in Sur.
Swim at Wadi Bani Khalid, then dune drive, camel ride, sunset and dinner in the Wahiba Sands. Overnight at the desert camp.
Drive to Nizwa Fort and souq, then climb to Jebel Akhdar for sunset over the canyon. Overnight on Jebel Akhdar.
Day trip to Jebel Shams for views into the Grand Canyon of Oman, and the mud-brick village of Misfat Al Abriyeen. Overnight on Jebel Akhdar.
Drive to Muscat Airport for the flight to Salalah. Evening at the Al Haffa souq. Overnight in Salalah.
Ayn Razat, Wadi Darbat, Khor Rori, Taqah Castle and Mirbat. Overnight in Salalah.
Mughsail blowholes and Fazayah beach in the morning, Al Baleed and the Museum of the Frankincense Land in the afternoon. Overnight in Salalah.
Transfer to Salalah Airport for your flight home (connections via Muscat).
Dress code: At mosques, women must cover arms and legs and wear a headscarf; men should wear trousers and a shirt. When swimming in wadis, modest swimwear is advised out of respect for local culture.
