Day-wise Itinerary

Arrive in New York and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in; your tour guide shares the plan for the coming days in the afternoon, and details are also posted at hotel reception.
A guided city tour introduces Manhattan's landmarks, from Midtown's skyscrapers to Downtown. After dark, we take you to the dazzling lights of Times Square.
Drive north-east to Boston, arriving around midday for a guided tour of America's most historic city. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace.
Cross the forests and hills of New England, two of the most scenic states in the American North-East, with a stop in the picture-postcard village of Woodstock. After crossing into Canada, arrive in Montreal.
Morning tour of Montreal, taking in Mount Royal Park, Saint Joseph's Oratory and the cathedral. After lunch, drive along the St Lawrence to Québec City for the night.
Discover Québec City on a morning tour: Château Frontenac, Place Royale, the Citadelle and the shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. The afternoon is free; we recommend a visit to Montmorency Falls.
Head into the Laurentian Mountains, pausing in the lakeside village of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts before continuing to the resort of Mont-Tremblant. Then drive on to Ottawa, Canada's capital.
See the Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill in Ottawa, then cruise among the Thousand Islands on the St Lawrence River. Arrive in Toronto in the evening.
Guided tour of Toronto, Canada's largest city, with a free afternoon to explore the waterfront or the CN Tower.
Transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight to Los Angeles, then on to your hotel. The rest of the day is free; your tour guide will brief you on the West Coast programme.
Guided tour of Los Angeles, followed by free time for lunch and exploring. In the late afternoon we take you to Long Beach.
Leave Los Angeles via the famous Santa Monica Pier, then continue to Solvang, a little slice of Denmark in California. Overnight in Bakersfield.
Swap the desert for the giant forests of Sequoia National Park, home to some of the largest trees on earth. Overnight in Fresno.
Spend the day in Yosemite National Park, admiring El Capitan, Half Dome and its thundering waterfalls. Free time for lunch, then arrive in San Francisco in the late afternoon.
Morning tour of San Francisco and a free afternoon. In the evening we take you to the Italian-flavoured North Beach neighbourhood.
After breakfast, your tour ends. We can arrange your airport transfer on request.
